We all know those days when we just feel like putting
“Warning! I may be ugly”-paperbag
on our heads.
But why?
Why it’s so easy to admire your friends beauty
and comparing it to yours?
Why can’t we see that it hurts people?
You. Me. You. She. You. He.
So the next time you’re mocking yourself,
remember to be gentle. Don’t hurt yourself.
Because what you think,
you become (Buddha).
And, as Oscar Wilde once put it, loving yourself
is the beginning of a lifelong romance.
Let’s all be romantics, shall we?
